In its new form, the MINI-FP6 (version 257-04) has two data-exchange protocols: its own MINI-FP6 protocol and the Datecs protocol.

The two protocols allow easy integration with cashier workstation software. After installation of the MINI-FP6, it is simple to indicate with which of the protocols it should work.

The MINI-FP6 fiscal printer is a Unisystem product. It uses a high-speed thermal printing mechanism from Seiko Instruments (Japan) with a highly reliable auto-cutter. The MINI-FP6’s power system has also become popular with users. Even when the electricity grid is unstable, it preserves current shift data and fiscal data.
