Celebrating 4 Years of NSMEP Operation

Industrial operation of NSMEP has been successfully functioning for 5 years already. Today 48 banks and 2 non-banking structures («Ukrposhta» in particular) have become NSMEP members. The banks, NSMEP members, have emitted over 2.2 million payment cards, more than 5,600 payment terminals and ATMs have been mounted. Total increasing turnover of NSMEP constitutes almost 74 billion hryvnias, among them 3 billion hryvnias making up inter-bank payments.

National Mass Electronic Payment System is an internal banking multi-emitting mass payment system which allows payments for goods and services, cash withdrawal and other transactions to be made with the help of payment smart cards operating according to the technology developed by the National Bank of Ukraine.

Electronic payment system «Interplat» developed by Group of Companies «Unisystem» offers its clients to make non-cash transactions by NSMEP cards. The system has been functioning successfully and winning its popularity with the bigger number of NSMEP smart card owners day by day.
